Which concert promoters and music agencies operate in Germany within the live entertainment sector?

Concert promoters in the live entertainment sector include local promoters, tour organisers and festival organisers. They organise both regional and international concerts featuring musicians, bands and orchestras from all genres and disciplines. The majority of concert promoters in Germany are privately-owned event companies. There are also publicly funded and partially funded promoters. Agencies include artist booking agencies and artist management companies. Their main role is to place artists with concert promoters and to strategically develop music careers.
The German Music Information Centre (miz) lists members of the National Association of the Concert and Event Industry (Bundesverband der Konzert- und Veranstaltungswirtschaft, or BDKV), the ZAV artist agency of the Federal Employment Agency as well as other music companies, provided information has been submitted. Institutions whose main focus is on holding a single event, managing a single artist or performing at a single venue are not mentioned.
