Which privately funded symphony orchestras are there in Germany?

In addition to the 129 publicly funded orchestras, there are a few professional symphony orchestras in Germany that are exclusively privately funded. They are financed primarily through box office revenue, sponsors, patrons, and occasionally also through grants from foundations and the public sector. The German Music Information Centre (miz) lists independent symphony orchestras (not pure project orchestras) that perform all year round, usually in a symphonic instrumentation and have a regular cast. In addition, there are numerous independent chamber orchestras that sometimes expand their instrumentation to symphonic size on a project-related basis; These are listed as a chamber orchestra.
