Musical Instrument Collections in Munich

Which musical instrument museums are there in Munich?

The German Music Information Centre (miz) lists musical instrument museums and collections in Munich, which are either independent or appear as departments of larger institutions, e.g. state, regional or city museums, museums with a cultural-historical focus or universities. In addition to these institutions, there are other museums that exhibit musical instruments within the context of other topics; The miz does not take these into account due to their usually small collection size.
