Where can I take music lessons in Sangerhausen?

Singing lessons and instrumental lessons in Sangerhausen are offered by music schools and private music teachers. Music schools can be public or private; there are also independent music teachers. They all introduce children, young people and adults to music, find and promote musical talents and encourage interested people of different age groups to actively make music.
The German Music Information Centre (miz) lists institutions that are members of the Association of German Music Schools (Verband deutscher Musikschulen, or VdM); specialised training centres and independent music schools are also listed, provided they have at least three to four teachers, give at least 80 to 100 hours of lessons per week and have a visible organisational structure. This applies in particular to the institutions organised in the German Association of Free Music Schools (Bundesverband der Freien Musikschulen, or bdfm) and the German Musicians’ Association (Deutscher Tonkünstlerverband, or DTKV).
For capacity reasons, the miz does not document individual private teachers, even though they make up a considerable part of the music education landscape. Many of these private teachers are members of the DTKV.
