Where are there public music schools in Bavaria?

Public music schools in Bavaria provide a wide range of extracurricular instrumental and vocal lessons for children, young people and adults. The portfolio also includes music-making in orchestras, choirs and ensembles as well as elementary music education. The public music schools are organised in the Association of German Music Schools (Verband deutscher Musikschulen, or VdM), which sets quality-oriented guidelines for its institutions. Lessons are based on the VdM's structure plan and framework curricula.
