Which authorities influence musical life?

Depending on the orientation, there are different authorities that are relevant in musical life for different reasons: in Europe, for example, the European Commission and the Council of the European Union, at the federal level, among others, the Foreign Office, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and several ministries, also some ministries at the state level and, above all, the cultural offices at the local level.
The German Music Information Centre (miz) presents the departments of the respective authorities and ministries that are important for the music sector in terms of structure and personnel.
